As part of the planned development of adjacent areas, the municipality of Urdorf is seeking to modernize access and connectivity to Weihermatt railway station. TBF was commissioned to prepare the preliminary project and contributes extensive expertise in the design of complex transport infrastructures. Building on a prior feasibility study, an integrated and future-oriented solution is being refined in terms of technical functionality, mobility, and urban development. TBF is also responsible for coordinating key stakeholders, including SBB and VBZ, and for supporting the municipality in official approval procedures. The aim is to establish a high-performance, multimodal access system that meets future needs and enhances the long-term quality and sustainability of the station area.
