The cycle route study examines suitable cycle paths between the municipalities Grosshöchstetten and Konolfingen and serves as technical base for further regulation in the cantonal sectoral plan.

TBF + Partner AG analysed various routes and guidance systems with consideration given to practicability, traffic quality, safety and rough estimated costs. The applicable VSS standards and cantonal standards were applied in this process. Junctions and interfaces with adjacent infrastructure were also considered. A project-specific evaluation matrix was used to compare the possible routes and guide systems in terms of approximate costs, practicability, traffic quality, and safety. The study shows how, under the given conditions, a dense and attractive bicycle network can be created that meets the needs of different user groups - both from the perspective of the municipalities and the canton.
