With its holistic, participatory vision ‘bonNova’, MVA Bonn GmbH is pursuing the goal of a climate-friendly, waste-conscious society and will continue to develop the site beyond 2035. TBF is responsible for the general planning. Project management and coordination, scheduling and cost planning as well as involvement in business cases are carried out in the area of controlling. In the technical area, the planning and tendering of an efficient and architecturally appealing waste-to-energy plant, the integration of carbon capture and utilization (CCU), as well as the integration of heat pumps, district heating and electricity will take place. This also includes permits, funding applications and construction supervision. In the area of strategy and communication, internal and external communication strategies, workshops and participation processes are supported in their development. In addition, the set-up of a competence centre as well as an extracurricular educational centre is promoted. The focus on sustainability runs through the entire project. This comprehensive commitment fosters the transformation to a sustainable location.
