Jürg Häberling

As a trained draftsman, specializing in mechanical engineering, I have always retained my "draftsman's soul". Both earlier with "pencil and ink" and later with CAD systems. The aesthetics of plans fascinate me and I attach great importance to the fact that execution documents reflect the real conditions. Furthermore, my enthusiasm lies in planning the best possible facilities. Both in the practical sense as well as in the appearance these should please.

I am enthusiastic about railroads and especially about catenary technology. That is why I have remained faithful to the industry for 40 years. My focus is still on the design of traction current systems and the development of the associated planning principles and CAD tools.

I like to pass on what I have learned and enjoy seeing my knowledge "multiply". That's why I hope to be able to pass on a lot of experience here, but also to learn a lot of new things.
