What characterizes me?
I am fascinated by natural and anthropogenic processes that shape our environment and how we deal with them. Topics around water, environment and natural hazards are close to my heart as a geographer. Due to my curious and inquisitive nature, I also actively pursue new topics.
My professional background is supported by a PhD in hydrology, during which I learned how to think analytically and work systematically. I have always been interested in transferring my findings to both experts and laypersons. Whenever possible, I outline my thoughts and ideas and use metaphors and accessible vocabulary.
My optimistic mindset, as well as open and helpful approach make me an easygoing and reliable colleague.
