Matthias Engeler
Project Engineer
What characterizes me?
My career is like a good playlist: varied, dynamic and with surprising transitions. I started out in structural engineering as a draughtsman specializing in civil engineering. Later, I was drawn to railroad construction - technical precision and complex processes fascinated me there.
A detour into architecture showed me how much creative freedom there is in planning. There I could not only design, but also create and implement. Today, I work in railroad construction at TBF + Partner AG - an area that suits me professionally and in which I have found new challenges and development opportunities. Another important part of my work for me is passing on my knowledge in the training of apprentices.
My everyday life is a mix of building plans, beats and movement. I enjoy doing sport myself, but I'm also there as a spectator when things get exciting. And: music is simply part of it for me. Whether it's Bach, hip-hop or techno - I listen to a lot, play myself and like to be inspired by new sounds.
